Corrosion and materials in the nuclear industry

The talk will highlight corrosion issues for materials in nuclear applications and draw on Dr Kauser’s experience. It will describe the different corrosion mechanisms and the failures they induce. It will also highlight various means of preventing, reducing and managing corrosion in hostile marine, chemical and radiological environments.
